Lean Blitz Consulting aims to bring continuous improvement concepts such as Lean and Six Sigma to businesses large and small, non-profit organizations, and sports organizations, all distinct types of customers and industries where continuous improvement thinking is often lacking and hard to acquire.
Small businesses must handle competition from much larger organizations and big box franchises that are able to leverage worldwide supply chains and sheer mass. In order to remain competitive and survive against such outside threats, small businesses must find ways to be productive and efficient with the limited resources at their disposal. Large businesses have vast resources and access to strong outside consulting, further stretching the gap between the haves and the have-nots.
Lean Blitz Consulting looks to bridge that gap, bringing productive strategic thinking to small organizations other large consulting firms ignore. We utilize a top-down strategic planning approach for small businesses in multiple industries in a more cost effective manner and add greater customer value. Industries and applications we target include:
– Manufacturing and assembly
– Mass production
– Front office business processes
– High-tech and high-customization manufacturing
– Service providers
– Work cells
– Supply chains
– Inventory management
– Strategy development and deployment
– Administrative functions
– Human resources
Lean Blitz Consulting also targets sports organizations and their operations on and off the field. Sports organizations share many similarities with small businesses in that they have the same business functions such as marketing, operations, production, safety, quality, accounting, and so forth.
Lean Blitz Consulting combines strategic business thinking with sports industry experience to optimize the fan experience at sporting events in customer facing processes such as:
– Ticket operations and sales
– Concessions operations and productivity
– Stadium maintenance and upkeep
– Environmental/utility consumption
– Merchandising supply chains and operations
– Sponsorship sales processes and marketing
The Lean Blitz blog has been covering Lean and continuous improvement applications and opportunities since 2011, looking at on-field incidents of quality failures, opportunities to utilize better metrics to obtain better results, improved utilization of resources, and maximizing the safety of players, fans, and all partners.
Lean Blitz Consulting has operations in Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina but handles clients and projects nationwide.
