As a follow-up to my recent post on the importance of business strategy, I published my first LinkedIn post on Sunday equating the settings of a clothes dryer to the priorities built into a sound business strategy.
An excerpt:
Quality is more important to me than delivery – I’d much rather have dry clothes whenever the dryer gets them to that level than to be stuck in an inadequate timeframe where I might be pulling on damp blue jeans.
I don’t know how long it takes to dry my clothes properly – that time is going to vary significantly based on how many items need to be dried – but honestly I don’t care. Just get them dry and I’ll deal with however long it takes.
Check it out – I will likely share a number of non-sports Lean/CI/business posts on LinkedIn going forward.
